What is a genetic cancer screening?

Genetic cancer screening is an advanced screening test that looks for specific inherited traits in your genes that may indicate that you’re predisposed to developing certain types of cancer.

Dr. Madapati tests for genes that are linked to cancers, such as:

BRCA1 and BRCA2 (indicators for breast, ovarian, or prostate cancer)
